Our submissions are now open from Monday 1st June 2026 to Tuesday 30th June 2026 to literary fiction and memoir from authors based in the UK and Ireland only.

We would particularly like to see manuscripts from marginalised and underrepresented communities. When we opened submissions last year, we were struck by how few came from writers of colour. 

As we build our list, we want to actively address that imbalance. We strongly encourage submissions from writers of colour, including and alongside working-class and regional voices, which remain central to the press.
